レイキとは?

「レイキって何？」その答えを求めてこのサイトにたどり着いた方や、「レイキを受けるとどうなるの？」と思っている人もいらっしゃるかと思います。レイキとは、ストレスの軽減、リラクゼーション、そして癒しをもたらす日本の技法で、京都府鞍馬山で1922年3月に臼井甕男（うすいみかお）氏によって発見されました。スピリチュアル的、精神的、肉体的なレベルでの自然な癒しの力を引き出す技法です。レイキは、手を当てるという技法により行われますが、このような技法は何千年にもわたり行われてきている習慣のひとつです。レイキの技法はシンプルですが、その有効性はパワフルで素晴らしく、また、誰でも習得することができます。

I have had two Reiki sessions with Muniqui Muhammad. Both were incredibly powerful and right on time. He is deeply in touch with the spiritual & how it interacts with our physical, mental and emotional experiences. At the beginning of the session, he takes his time to really understand what your needs are and how he can more precisely use his training to lead you through healing, release and revelations. The actual Reiki portion has been a profound experience for me on both occasions. The most recent had me experience a connection, love and compassion for myself I haven’t been able to access before. I also was able to let go and relax in a way I often struggle to. After the Reiki portion, he helped me process my experience and set an intention for more spiritual discipline. I cannot say specifically what led me to Lena and Muniqui and their Reiki training class, but what I do know is that I trusted my creator would place me where I needed to be. I had been seeking to learn more about Reiki for approximately a year prior to my training, but every program I researched at did not resonate with me. I continued down the rabbit hole of the internet and "discovered" the Healing Land Reiki website. When I read Lena and Muniqui's stories, I knew I had to speak with them and from our first phone call recognized these two special spirits that I wanted to learn from. From our first conversation, they actively listened, asked focused questions and guided me on the journey of understanding and working with Reiki. They were extremely accommodating with the training schedule given it was remote learning, and their answers to my questions were informed by their knowledge, compassion and deep insight. They allowed a space for me to be vulnerable and provided me with the gift of Reiki placement as I completed my Level 1 and 2 training. If you are contemplating adding Reiki to your journey of self-healing and healing of others, I recommend you have a conversation with them to explore their training and see if it is right for you. I am filled with gratitude for the beautiful experience of having met and worked with them on my journey!

I have been thinking about reiki for some time now, and knew that Muniqui Dawud Muhammad is a reiki healer. My spirit felt full and “heavy” from some past relationships and I needed help removing this energy so I could move forward with a “new slate,” so to speak. This was the perfect opportunity to ask my questions about reiki, myths and truths, realistic expectations and everything in between. He answered them and I scheduled my first session. Scheduling was easy; i completed the paperwork, sent my payment, and we met on zoom at our appointed time. At the session, we discussed again what I was struggling with and wanted to achieve. He explained what would happen during the session and I told him I would likely snore (I always feel it is appropriate to at least notify someone of that before I may close my eyes for a period of time). :) I turned on the youtube playlist (no commercials) that helps you relax and we began. I woke up feeling oddly calm. Content. Peaceful. the only way I know how to articulate it in words is that I felt like the Tin Man in Wizard of Oz. My spirit felt light. Unburdened. LIGHT AND UNBURDENED! It was so fascinating! I felt this way for days, waiting for the old feeling to return, but it did not. I am ready to schedule my next session, to help move some of this sad and anxious energy of current events out of me so I can be better and feel better. I highly recommend Healing Land Reiki. I am looking forward to my next session, and I hope that reiki will become something regular as I navigate this thing we call life.
