A handmade exclusive soap made with a special ingredient: “Full Moon Water from Kibune, Kyoto.” This water is drawn from sacred springs located in the mountains surrounding Kyoto, in the Kifune/Kurama area. This pure water is drawn only during the full moon to maximize its spiritual and energetic qualities. The unique combination along with natural ingredients, enhances the holistic properties of the soap.

Cleansing is a part of the beauty rituals in Japan which brings out the fine, glowing, beautiful skin that Japanese women are famous for. By adding this soap to your daily beauty rituals, you will experience it’s wonderful cleansing effects.   • Water (Full Moon Water from Kibune, Kyoto. Water collected from Kibune Shrine on full moon nights)
  • Fragrance (Grapefruit Peel Oil, Lemon Peel Oil, Elemi, Yuzu (Japanese Citrus Fruit) Peel Oil)
  • Egoma oil (Perilla Seed Oil) from Rikyu Hachimangu Shrine, Kyoto

*Rikyu Hachimangu Shrine is the birthplace of oil refining in Japan, and is known as the only "God of Oil" in Japan.

Mt. Kurama is a sacred mountain surrounded by Kurama Village and Kifune Village. It is located in the Northern part of Kyoto, Japan. It has been the home of The Kurama Temple (In Japanese, its “Kurama-Dera”) for at least 12 centuries. Kurama Temple is a mountain temple with a long history and a unique atmosphere. It is considered by some to contain special spiritual energy and over the years, many famous people have come here to meditate. It’s known for it’s spirituality and breathtaking natural beauty.

Mt. Kurama, is also famous for where the Mikao Usui (Founder of Usui Reiki) received the gift of Reiki after fasting and meditating for 21 days.

When you hike to the top of Mt. Kurama, where Usui Sensei received his gift of Reiki, you will be just in between Kurama and Kifune Village.

In fact, the entire area of Kurama/Kifune is imbued with a high spiritual energy.
