***This explanation of Reiki Classes in Japan with Lena Takahashi, Muniqui Muhammad.
All classes of all levels are usually taught from 9:00-18:00. In our Reiki classes, we focus on high quality by giving you a strong foundation & deeper understanding of how to use Reiki in your daily life and working with your clients. So the classes require around 8 hours each day. ***Please note that all Reiki teachers have their own teaching styles. What we see in Japan is that some of them may teach each level only for 2-3 hours. Some teach 4-5 hours per class. We teach 8 hours. That’s why you need to have a full day and combining any other tourists activities on that day, will be difficult.
This is a frequently asked question from people who want to train with us.***
Taking your Reiki training in Japan enhances your understanding of the skill in many ways. First, you are able to breathe the atmosphere and experience the culture that gave birth to some of the important figures in Reiki history like Mikao Usui Sensei and Chijiro Hayashi Sensei. This firsthand cultural experience allows you to see the Reiki ideals as they are practiced in their natural environment.
Additionally, you will have an opportunity to visit some of the special historic locations such as Mt. Kurama where Usui Sensei meditated for 21 days and received the gift of Reiki. Also, you can visit his hometown of Taniai Village, Gifu Prefecture and more.
Also, being able to spend time among the Japanese people, eating Japanese food and partaking in Japanese traditions, will allow you to have a better understanding of various aspects of Reiki practices such as the Japanese Reiki techniques.
Our previous students and friends have said that they notice that their Reiki energy felt stronger and they had a better appreciation for their Reiki practice after taking Reiki training in Japan or visiting us in Japan.
