WHAT IS REIKI
Reiki Description

You may have come to this site with the question, "What is Reiki?" Or if you are wondering, "What happens when I receive Reiki? You are in the right place!

Reiki is a Japanese technique of stress reduction, relaxation, and healing that was received by Mikao Usui in March 1922 on Mt. Kurama, Japan. It is a technique that helps the natural healing powers of the body on a spiritual, mental, and physical level. The technique of Reiki is simple, but its effectiveness is powerful and it can be learned by anyone.

In our day-to-day living, some activities cause wear and tear on our bodies, hearts, and minds. To compensate, our bodies send vitamins, minerals, and energy to rebuild the areas that need it. Quite often, the layers of wear and tear build-up faster than our body can repair them.

This leads to feelings of stress, anxiety, and feeling drained of life. This is where Reiki helps because Reiki is an energy that naturally and gently restores the energy in the places that it is needed. The results are an enhanced feeling of being alive, pain relief, reduction in stress, increased energy, better sleep, toxins flushed from the body, improved self-confidence, elevated mood, faster healing of the body, improved digestion, improved focus and clarity, and much more.

REIKI SESSION
About Reiki Sessions

One of the ways to experience Reiki is to receive a Reiki session. It can be received in person or at a distance.

A Reiki Session starts with a discussion about what the client wants to work on.

During the in-person session, the client will either lay on the Reiki table or sit in a chair. The session will be conducted by a light touch on or above your fully clothed body. Upon completion of the session, we will discuss anything that you experienced and after-session recommendations.

.

You can also receive your Reiki Session over a distance (Zoom, Skype, etc). This means no matter where you are on the earth: whether you are in Cairo Egypt, Nairobi Kenya, Cambodia, Thailand, Russia, France, The USA, The North or South Pole...you can receive a Reiki session.

Whether in-person or at a distance, the Reiki effect will be the same.

REIKI TRAINING
REIKI TRAINING

To learn Reiki, you do not need to believe in it, understand it, have the ability to meditate or have any special healing abilities. It does not require years of training to be effective. The student receives the ability to use the Reiki energy through the attunement (or Placement or Ignition). Once the attunement is completed, the student can use Reiki immediately. This is why Reiki can be learned by anyone!

Whether you want to have a Reiki Session, start your Reiki Training, or improve your Reiki skills, please refer to the course listings and details to find out which one is right for you.
